feeling this fall weather lately! loving time indoors to regroup after the busy summer season!
I know I promised you guys fresh cut flower bouquets this summer but it just didn’t happen. I / we have been so busy with the move to Downtown Antioch & I had so much to learn this season! All of these flowers that you see me using have been grown from seed by me & I have been able to enjoy learning and growing this year! I hope to share more with you next season!

It’s official - we are moving! We are so excited to officially announce to our followers that we closing our shop in Lake Villa and opening this summer in Downtown Antioch! We have gone back and forth quite a bit about moving the shop & we feel like this move gives us the best chance of succeeding. Lake Villa was a great place to start our business & we have learned so much, met so many wonderful customers and have most importantly we have fallen deeper in love with what we are creating! As most of you know we started our business because of our love for finding things! That is essentially where the name Found came from. We have lived in Chicago, Wisconsin, and California. While living in these places we discovered our love for thrift stores, flea markets, estate sales, garage sales and garbage picking (I’m not kidding)! The truth is - it is a passion! We are excited and anxious to get into our new spot & create another beautiful experience for our customers! Lately things have been moving so fast. Spring has basically flashed by, which it does every year with soccer season and the end of the school year. The inside of our home has had no time to adjust to the change of the season. Yesterday I took time to organize a few areas of my home and revamp the front entryway of our home - the busiest area between school days & soccer nights! I’ve added a houseplant as it always transforms a space to feel fresh and vibrant, a really cool piece of art that I found last summer in Wisconsin, and a new pillow from the shop! I love the color, it brings in the exterior color of our house! I love when things start to feel like they are calming down - seasons changing, things ending. It always feels refreshing and motivating to organize and rearrange a space! #busyhousehold #mindfulhome #meaningfulhome
Our first “big” show was this past weekend! What an amazing and beautiful time we had! The weather could not have been more perfect! We met so many new customers and other small business owners like ourselves! We spent a very long time prepping and planning for this event because we knew how important it was for our brand.
